Despicable Me Trailer

Posted on 06 August 2009 by marylou

despicable-me-500x283This movie looks hilarious…which isn’t surprising considering the actors lending their voices to the project: Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Will Arnett…and The Flight of The Concords  Jemaine Clement. Oh and lets not forget that one of my favorite musicians Pharrell Williams worked on the music.

Despicable Me will hit theaters July 9th 2010.

Leonard DiCaprio Retelling Little Red Riding Hood

Posted on 05 August 2009 by marylou

little_redVariety is reporting that Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way  is working on a Gothic retelling of the classic story “Little Red Riding Hood”

David Leslie Johnson (Orphan) is writing the script.

The Brothers Grimm verison of the story is the most well known, but the story actually dates back to the Middle Ages. Older versions of the story are very dark, and in some the villain is a warewolf instead of a regular wolf.
