Kidrobt and Sanrio have teamed up to bring us a series of vinyl figures based on Hello Kitty characters. Each figure is 6 inches, costs $39.95 and has been designed by a different artist.
Hello Kitty herself was the first character to be featured, in not one but two figures.
Magic Love Hello Kitty designed by Tara McPherson and Empress Of The Underworld Hello Kitty by Frank Kozik are in stores now.
Junkocat Chococat by Junko Mizuno and Bad Badtz Maru by Amanda Visell will be available on January 13th.
I really like both versions of Hello Kitty. While I normally enjoy Junko Mizuno’s art, I have to say I am not really feeling her version of Chococat… Amanda Visell’s Badtz Maru is hands down my favorite of the series, I am really looking forward to future Kidrobot x Sanrio figures!
