There are a few times of the year when you can get a Holiday “themed” toy. Christmas is one of those occasions and so is Valentine’s Day. I’ve found a couple Halloween themed toys ranging from, vinyl to Legos that you should try to get your hands on.
The first one is a Lego diorama of a couple of Trick or Treaters. I don’t think it’s for sale because it seems like a personal project, but for those of you out there that like to purchase custom made Lego dioramas and love Halloween, then maybe you could get in contact with them. Stormtroopers, may the undead be with you, because Gentle Giant has an exclusive for you! They have not one but two Zombie Stormtrooper mini busts. They are called the Death Troopers and will be limited to only 2500 pieces. There will be a “web” version of the Death Trooper (a DELUXE version) and it will have interchangeable arms and removable parts. The best part about the DELUXE Trooper is that it will be priced the same as the standard version. Gentle Giant has a “Coming Soon” beside both of the mini bust with a date of 10/2010. My guess…they will be released any day now.
For all you Kidrobot “Munny” fans, The Record Exchange is having their 5th Annual Munny Silent Auction Fundraiser with proceeds from the auction going to “The Women’s and Children’s Alliance”. The silent auction has been going on already and is scheduled to end at 4 p.m. Friday Oct. 29. There are various Munnys by different artist that you can bid on, but there was one Munny that really caught my eye. It is this zombie Munny done by artist Tony Rios.
Do you have an Android powered cell phone/digital device? The Android mascot is very popular in South Korea, but luckily for us here in the states we have a company that has Android figures, although they are very hard to get. Andrew Bell’s Dead Zebra, Inc. has an exclusive and rare Android 3in vinyl figure that will go on sale Oct 31, and like the previous 3in Android figures that sold out (and won’t be remade) this one is destined to sell out in just a few hours.
The Simpsons fans! Kidrobot has series 2 of The Simpsons blind boxed 3in figures ready for you. This series will have you eating Bart’s brain out for sure. Kidrobot has a “Coming Soon” for them but when Kidrobot shows something on their web site, you know it’s only a matter of hours before you can get your zombie hands on them.
