Kotobukiya is at it again (and by that I mean trying to take all my money!). They are continuing their Marvel and DC Bishoujo lines, this time with Poison Ivy and Mystique statues.
First Up is Mystique. The thing I really like about this statue is that she is sitting down, sometimes the bases on these statues ruin them for me (Psylocke’s giant pink X stand is a perfect example). I also love the detail on her belt and with the gun, and the fact that her hair is semi transparent.
Next up is Poison Ivy. I love her pose, her hair and her face. I am a little wary however of the placement and amount of plants surrounding her body, this is one of those statues that I will have to see in person before making a purchasing decision.
Both statues are scheduled to be in stores in February 2012. I don’t have an exact price for them yet, but based on other Bishoujo statues I assume that they will cost between $60-$70.
