I was waiting for this announcement. The Black and Gold Batgirl Ame-Comi figure is being released!
Batgirl and Catwoman were the first two figures to be released in the now very popular Ame-Comi line. Photos of the figures featuring their classic color schemes have been floating around the web, since well before the figures were ever released.
The Catwoman Variant will be in stores this year (she is purple instead of Black), and next year Batgirl in her classic Black and Gold will be released!
She will cost $60 and is expected in stores on June 15, 2011.
DC also announced the release of a Blue Variant of the 2nd Catwoman version. She will also cost $60 and be in stores on June 15, 2011.
