When a successful British ghostwriter, agrees to complete the memoirs of former British Prime Minister Adam Lang, his agent assures him it’s the opportunity of a lifetime. The project quickly takes a bad turn when “The Ghost” learns that his predecessor, a long time aid of Lang died in an accident. As he continues with his research The Ghost finds clues that lead him to believe that his dead predecessor had stumbled upon a dark secret of Lang’s and may have been murdered.
The Ghost Writer stars Pierce Brosnan, Ewan McGregor, Kim Cattrall, and Olivia Williams. It will be released in limited theaters on February 19, 2010.
