What if Brainiac was sent to Earth as a baby…at the same time Kal-El’s parents sent him to earth? What if he actually succeed in killing the man of steel? That is basically the premise of Megamind:
Megamind is the most brilliant supervillain the world has ever known. And the least successful. Over the years, he has tried to conquer Metro City in every imaginable way. Each attempt, a colossal failure thanks to the caped superhero known as “Metro Man,” an invincible hero until the day Megamind actually kills him in the throes of one of his botched evil plans. Suddenly, Megamind has no purpose. A supervillain without a superhero. He realizes that achieving his life’s ambition is the worst thing that ever happened to him.
Megamind features the voices of Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, Will Ferrell, and Tina Fey. It will be in theaters on November 5, 2010.

Oh my! Megamind looks great. Almost like a cross between Monsters vs. Aliens and The Incredibles, visually. The voices are spot-on! I love how the big companies are still making good superhero movies. This one I have to see. I know my friends will call it silly and childish, but I’ve been used to that for 20+ years. Thanks for the news.
