When you think of computer animation, normally you see images that tend to look photorealistic or at least try to look as if it’s not computer animation. Well, that’s all fine and dandy, but what if you saw animation that loudly proclaimed I am Computer Animation . There are of course different styles of animation, whether the artist chooses to keep it on paper, transfer it, or even create it in computer animation software.
Recently, I stumbled upon a really cool short film that looked like the animators left their work unfinished. It’s not a style that you will see often, but it works well for this film. Besides, the stylized look of the short film, the sound effects, colors, the camera angles and the overall feel of the movie just works. It also doesn’t hurt that the action is fast paced, there’s suspense, and of course, an ending that you didn’t see coming! Watch it already. -The Cameraman
