Variety reports that Nicolas Cage is in talks with Columbia Pictures to play the villain in The Green Hornet. Cameron Diaz is in talks to play a reporter and love interest.
Michel Gondry is directing the film, which will star Seth Rogen as The Green Hornet. The studio is currently looking for a replacement for Stephen Chow, who was going to play Kato. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg wrote the script. It is scheduled for release next summer.
