The Dread Priate Roberts is joining the Wonder Woman TV series!! Deadline is reporting that Cary Elwes is joining the cast of Wonder Woman as “Henry Detmer, the acting CEO of Themyscira Industries, who is deeply devoted to Diana. He runs the day-to-day operations of the company and acts like an uncle to Diana, though he could be a possible love interest down the line.”
I love Cary Elwes and I think he will be great as Henry Detmer as long as the keep him as the uncle and don’t try to play the possible love interest angle…that just seems wrong on so many levels.
The Good Wife’s Pedro Pascal has been cast as a police liaison who is devoted and loyal to Diana.
Tracie Thoms (Cold Case)has been cast as Diana’s personal assistant who is described as “always cheerful”.
Elizabeth Hurley will play a reoccurring guest role as the series villain. While her exact role has not been confirmed it is assumed that she will play Veronica Cale “an evil scientist and rival businesswoman with a secret, nefarious plan…”
I think Hurley will be a perfect villainess.
