Deadline reported that NBC has picked up the pilot for David E. Kelly’s Wonder Woman TV show. Whether or not anyone will ever get to see the pilot or if it will be picked up and turned into a series remains unseen (remember Aquaman?)
This has been in the works for a while now, just waiting to be picked up by a network, which really baffles me. Warner Bros owns DC Entertainment and the CW, why wasn’t the show picked up by the company who owns the trademarks to the character especially now that Smallville is ending.
I guess instead of trying to understand Hollywood politics I should just rejoice (although NBC is the network that brought us THE CAPE, so I will be a little skeptical until I see the show).
