In this remake of the 1984 film, a young boy  moves to Beijing with his mother, where he learns to stand up for himself with the help of a martial arts mentor.

The Karate Kid stars Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan, and Taraji P. Henson. It will be in theaters on June 11, 2010.
