Legend of the Guardians is based on Kathryn Lasky’s series of books. It follows a young owl named Soren who is kidnapped by the owls of St. Aegolius, where young owls are brainwashed into becoming soldiers whose purpose is to attack the wise and peaceful owls of Ga’Hoole.
Legend of the Guardians features the voices of Jim Sturgess, Emily Barclay, Abbie Cornish, Ryan Kwanten, Jay Lagaaia, Miriam Margolyes, Helen Mirren, and Sam Neill. It is directed by Zack Snyder and will be in theaters on September 24th, 2010.
