Today Marvel announced that Tommy Lee Jones has been cast to star as US Army Colonel Chester Phillips in “Captain America: The First Avenger.
Phillips is the Colonel responsible recruiting Steve Rogers to join Project Rebirth, the top secret experiment that created the Super Soldier known as Captain America.
Captain America: The First Avenger also stars Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan and Stanley Tucci. It will be in theaters on July 22, 2011.
