Marvel and Sony have announced that Rhys Ifans will play the villain in the Spider-Man reboot. Rhys Ifans starred along side Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant in Notting Hill, and will next be seen in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”.
While the film makers are remaining silent on what villain Rhys Ifans will be protraying, speculation is, The Green Goblin, Venom, or the Vulture (who was supposed to be the villain in Sam Raimi’s 4th installment of the franchise).
