I am not ashamed to admit (Ok that is a lie, I am a little ashamed) that I read and enjoyed the Twilight series. But Breaking Dawn managed to change that, suddenly the three books that came before were runined and my eyes were opened to Stephenie Meyer’s poor writing skills and lack of imagination (take True Blood & The Vampire Dairies, put them together take out any intimacy and you are left with Twilight).
Enough of my Twilight rant, this post is really about Breaking Dawn casting news. Entertainment Weekly has reported that Mackenzie Foy (FlashForward, ‘Til Death’)has been cast as Renesmee (even her name is horrible), the half vampire, half human daughter of Edward and Bella. There is some speculation how the 9-year old actress will go from an infant to 17-year old in the film. The best guess is that younger actresses will be used along with some CG effects.
It was announced earlier that Maggie Grace (Taken, Lost) will portray Irina, a member of the Denali coven who blames the Cullens for the death of her lover.
