Today Warner Bros. Animation has released a press release announcing that Nathan Fillion will voice the character of Hal Jordon in the studio’s next animation DVD release; Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, this will be Nathan’s second time appearing in a Warner Bro animated project (he has Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman).
Nation will be joined by Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss as Arisia, a young recruit forced into her first mission on just her third day as a Green Lantern.
The voice cast also includes Henry Rollins as Kilowog, Jason Isaacs as Sinestro, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper as Bolphunga, Arnold Vosloo as Abin Sur, Kelly Hu as Laira and Wade Williams as Deegan.
Bruce Timm is executive producing the film, so like all the others before it Green Lantern: Emerald Knights will have that magic he seems to bring to all the animated projects he works on for Warner Bros.
Green Lantern: Emerald Kinigths will be released on June 7, 2011…just over a week before Green Lantern hits theaters!
