Sony Pictures has released the first image of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, and reaction on the web so far has been nothing but positive. While I do think the costume looks pretty good, I am still not interested in this movie. Tobey Maguire was an awesome Spidey /Peter Parker and in my humble opinion it is just way to soon to reboot the franchise.

For all of you that are excited about the film, Sony’s newest version of Spider-Man will be released in 3D on July 3, 2012.

There have been a ton of pictures of Chris Evans as Captain America, but the web has been a buzz this afternoon with the following picture from this week’s ET featuring Chris Evans in the full Captain America costume. I find the image underwhelming especially compared to the above Spider-Man image. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER will be in theaters on July 22, 2011.
