According the the Hollywood Reporter, Brain Singer wants to return to the X-Men franchise.
While at the Pusan International Film Festival he told reporters “I’m still looking to possibly returning to the ‘X-Men’ franchise. I’ve been talking to Fox about it.”
“I love Hugh Jackman. I love the cast.”
Bryan directed the first two X-Men movies, he passed on the third movie to direct Superman Returns.

I hope this happens. He did an amazing job with the 1st 2 xmen movies. Fox would be stupid not to bring him back to the franchise.
