Amy Adams is in negotiations to star in The Fighter (The film is a biopic of the boxer “Irish” Mickey Ward.), along with Mark Wahlberg as Mickey Ward, and Christian Bale as Mickey’s trainer and brother, Dick. Amy Adams will play Mickey’s love interest. David O. Russell will direct the film.
