Alex Heberling is one busy girl. In the span of just a few years (since 2005) she has co-created a webcomic called Jigworthy, created two other webcomics; Garanos & the current Alex’s Guide to a life well-lived, a 19-page “printed” short story entitled; The Shepherd, a short-form comic; Corner on Main, and a 24-page comic completed in 24 consecutive hours; Summer’s Year (she documented the process on her website and on YouTube). And noteworthy in all of this, is the fact that all of her work is documented and present on the internet; everything has its own website.
Her slice of life journal that she’s currently producing, Alex’s Guide to a life well-lived has just the right amount of humor & wit to keep a reader interested, and just like all of her other webcomics, there’s added commentary, she keeps you up to date with everything she’s doing and her web site is easy to navigate thru. This girl is dedicated to her craft. With her many short stories along with commissions and keeping her online social networks active, she truly lives by her motto: “I’m arting as hard as I can!”
