I guess it’s been awhile since any big name superheroes have died (we all knew from day one that Batman was still alive), so I guess Marvel’s announcement about “The Death of Spider-Man” shouldn’t come as a surprise.
The story will begin in February, and will be written by Brian Michael Bendis (ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN #153 & #154) and Mark Millar (ULTIMATE AVENGERS VS. NEW ULTIMATES #1 of 6).
Both Bendis and Millar are promising that this will be a great story we will see (Spider-Man is one of the few Marvel titles I read).
