Square Enix line of highly detailed and articulated action figures called ‘Play Arts Kai’ has slowly been making a name for themselves in the US market, which started with their Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid characters. And now that they have a license to produce action figures based on the popular Arkham Asylum video game franchise, they are officially on everyone’s toy radar.

Toynami is releasing Action Figure Encore Collection 1 that comprises of 6-inch tall action figures. The set has Fry with Holophoner and Farnsworth with Nibbler. Pre-Order them here.

Futurama: Talking Robot Devil Figure is a 9-inch tall talking action figure that has 12 unique phrases, bendable arms and legs, and interchangeable eyes to match his many moods. This leaves us with the other variants, Vito “Sharky” Finzetti the ‘pink’ version and the ‘GID’ (glow in the dark) version. The pink version is a limited edition of 120 pieces while the GID version is 100 pieces and all three were released at the 2011 San Diego Comic Con.

Because of their ‘low’ run numbers I think they will make a great addition to your vinyl or toy collection. They can also make a great gift for a child or an adult that may find sharks a fascinating species.
