Superman Reboot Gets a Director
Variety is reporting that David Goyer has been hired to write the script for the next Superman movie. Goyer’s story will have more action and feature Lex Luthor and Brainiac.
David Goyer co-wrote “Batman Begins” and wrote and produced the “Blade” trilogy.
Red Hood Next DC Animated Film
The LA Times broke the exciting news: Batman Under The Red Hood will be the next animated feature film! Judd Winick who originally wrote the story in comic form has written the film. Bruce Timm is acting as executive producer, Brandon Vietti who co-directed Superman Doomsday will direct.

Three Musketeers…Reboot
Variety is reporting that a Three Musketeers reboot is in the works.
Lionel Wigram (who worked on Guy Ritchie’s remake of Sherlock Homes) is producing the film and has hired Peter Straughan to update the story to appeal to a more contemporary audience.

Cruz To Join Pirates?
Variety is reporting that Penelope Cruz is in negotiations to star along side Johnny Depp in Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” opposite Johnny Depp.
The film is scheduled to to be released May 2011.
Spider-Man In 3D

Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec were hired last year to write the script, Both Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams will produce the film.
