Action Comics #1 Sells for 1 Million
Yesterday an extremely rare 8.9 graded copy of Action Comics #1 sold for one million dollars.
The transaction was sold by a private seller to a private buyer though ComicConnect.com
The comic book featuring the first appearance of Superman was released in 1938 and sold for ten cents.

Marvel Studios Chairman To Step Down
Variety is reporting that Marvel Studios Chairman David Maisel will step down from his position once the Disney’s acquisition of Marvel is finalized (which is expected before the end of the year).
Maisel will still act as an execitve producer on “Thor” and “The First Avenger: Captain America”.
