Marylou
I have fond memories of watching Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and The Princess Bride, with my father as a child. I can’t remember a time when Star Trek was not a part of my life. One of my older sister’s friends even worked in the special effects department for The Next Generation. I am still envious of the official Commander Riker comm badge he took from the set for her.
While other girls my age were inside playing with dolls, I could be found running around outside climbing trees, jumping fences, and playing Indiana Jones with my cousins and siblings.
Despite all that I didn’t really embrace my “geekiness” until a fateful trip to a local comic book store. I walked in innocently looking for a Superman statue (my favorite superhero since childhood) and walked out an addict. I prefer DC heroes but I’m slowing transitioning over to Marvel titles as well.

Dimetrius
In 9th grade when I was about 14 years old, during a special class segment we watched a video, I think the topic of the class had something to do with Japan, but regardless the video that was shown to us was Bubblegum Crisis! This was the movie that introduced me to the world of anime. Funny thing is Robotech was one of my favorite Saturday morning cartoons, although at the time, I did not realize that it was anime.
Today, I’m a family man with 3 young children. My 6 year old daughter, who is the youngest, loves her Anime just like her daddy. Together we watch some of her favorites like: InuYasha, Tenchi Muyo! & Rurouni Kenshin. My 9 year old son, the oldest, loves his Dragon Ball Z along with playing video games like Star Wars & Halo.
Besides spending time with the kids, watching anime, & playing video games, I’m also a sports fan. The Miami Hurricanes are my favorite college football team and when the NBA playoffs start you can be sure I’ll be sitting in front of my plasma.

The Cameraman
What’s up! I’m Greg, known here as “The Cameraman”. Ever since early childhood I’ve always played around with toys especially cars: Diecast Matchbox cars, scale model kits, & remote control cars. Collecting my toys was not something that was on my mind back then and that’s why I don’t have a single toy from my past. My teenage to young adult years encompassed other interest like drawing, break dancing, cycling, DJ’ing, & entrepreneurship.
Now that I’m approaching 40, I’m the same as ever. Diecast Matchbox cars and scale model kits have been replaced by a couple of Diecast Jada Toys, a few anime figures and a Hot Toys Bat-Pod. Drawing & DJ’ing have been replaced by my interest in photography and as far as entrepreneurship is concerned, I have officially started 2 companies, with the desire to start more.
