Star Wars as many of us are well aware is perhaps the most influential space opera that has been bestowed upon the children of Generation X & Generation Y. The story of Star Wars transports us to a distant future, but when we compare it with (Star Trek or Battle Star Galactica) we can see how Star Wars was not shiny, slick or even minimalistic in its costumes and set designs. When viewed as such, then one can even say it shared some resemblance to the Steampunk Style.
